The Folkes name has been in business around the Great Yarmouth area for over 100 years.

Folkes Plant and Aggregates Ltd. is a subsidiary of the E.E.Green and Son Group. It was acquired by them in 1999.

The Sand and gravel Quarry is situated on Butt Lane in Burgh Castle near Great Yarmouth and has been open since the 1950's.

The day to day running is headed by Manager Kevin Lee, alongside is Sandra in accounts.

The quarry is open and we are available for quotes, questions or queries Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5.00pm

We Supply to both Trade and General Public

We supply Sand, Gravels, Graded Topsoil, Type one granite, Recycled Concrete, Rubble and Tarmac with different grades available on recycled products.

Loads are available from 1 tonne to 20 tonnes delivered to your door. 1-4 tonne loads are delivered on our small trucks which can also carry split loads of up to 2 tonne in each section. Anything over 4 tonne is delivered on our bigger trucks, including four wheeled tipper which carries up to 11 tonne or our eight wheeled tippers that can carry up to 20 tonne.

Products are also available Loose or in Bulk Bags but please note bags can only be dropped off the rear of the truck.

A collection facility for all materials is also available from our quarry on Butt Lane within the opening hours listed above.

We also offer a free tip for clean rubble, concrete and tarmac.
